Outliner CSS

SUMMARY

After years of adding debug styles into projects to help debug structure and layout issues I spent an afternoon making the Outliner CSS chrome extension. Outliner CSS is added to the current page on all elements with the option to switch between RGB colors and toggle background color opacity to highlight depth.

The latest version of Outliner CSS is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 10,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2017-10-10.

HOW TO INSTALL Outliner CSS FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Outliner CSS CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
