SUMMARY

It makes easy to inspect the structure of a page with no need to open the browser console. Just select the type of html tag to outline, on page, and to display a label with basic info.

Some features are:

- List the most common html tags
- Get info about the tittle and description tags
- Display tags id and class attributes
- extra info: “alt” attribute value
- extra info: tells you if it’s an internal or external link, or a javascript call, and if the “target” attribute is set
- Mouse over a tag label to bring it to front

- Click on the tag in the DOM Tree to scroll to the element on the page

The latest version of HTML Visual Validation is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 4,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2018-09-25.

HOW TO INSTALL HTML Visual Validation FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download HTML Visual Validation CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
