SUMMARY

This adds a transparent background of a random colour, and similar border to divs to aid in visualisation of layouts. Designed for debugging/display purposes Min depth: minimum number of parents a div must have to be highlighted. Max depth: maximum number of parents a div must have to be highlighted. The latest version of Div Highlighter is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-05-11.

HOW TO INSTALL Div Highlighter FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Div Highlighter CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
