NerdeRegion

SUMMARY

NerdeRegion is a developer tools extension for debugging live regions on a Web Page. When activated, it lists all active Aria live regions, and keeps a record of all mutations that has happened on the region. You can use NerdeRegion to, - Check if a live region is being updated properly, - Check if accessible name computation (beta) is done correctly, - Check if live region is being re-used correctly. To use the extension, open your browser’s Developer Tools, and navigate to the NerdeRegion tab. NerdeRegion is a free and Open-source project. You can contribute to its source code, or create support requests on GitHub.

The latest version of NerdeRegion is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 501 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-10-22.

HOW TO INSTALL NerdeRegion FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download NerdeRegion CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
