This plugin will highlight and visualize the Cumulative Layout Shift. Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) is an important, user-centric metric for measuring visual stability because it helps quantify how often users experience unexpected layout shifts—a low CLS helps ensure that the page is delightful. Unfortunately the CLS is a pain to debug without visualisation

The latest version of CLS Visualizer is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 9,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-11-12.

HOW TO INSTALL CLS Visualizer FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download CLS Visualizer CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
