Google Meet - Don't forget to record ribbon

SUMMARY

Recording meetings is a great way to promote asynchronous collaboration in a company. Unfortunately, it happens quite often that organizers find out too late that they forgot to start the recording. Google doesn't give any option to automate recordings (probably for good reasons). So this minimalist extension helps organizer to remember about it by adding a flashy ribbon on the top-left side of the app. Simply click on the ribbon to make it disappear.

The latest version of Google Meet - Don't forget to record ribbon is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-09-28.

HOW TO INSTALL Google Meet - Don't forget to record ribbon FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Google Meet - Don't forget to record ribbon CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
