SUMMARY

This extension prevents the sites you specify from appearing in Google search results.

You can add rules on search result pages, or on sites to be blocked by clicking the toolbar icon. Rules can be specified either by match patterns (e.g. *://*.example.com/*) or by regular expressions (e.g. /example\.(net|org)/).

You can use this extension in several search engines other than Google. The list of supported search engines is available at:

You can synchronize rulesets across devices via cloud storage. At the moment, Google Drive and Dropbox are supported.

The latest version of uBlacklist is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 200,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-07-02.

HOW TO INSTALL uBlacklist FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download uBlacklist CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
