SUMMARY

This extension allows Chrome to auto-sort your bookmarks alphabetically. Compatible with manifest V3.

Features:

Bookmarks are sorted automatically, on bookmark added, modified or moved.
Implemented custom sorting of alphabetical letters, including ones with Czech diacritics.
Characters with highest priority: !, , :, -, [0-9], [a-z] including [á-ž]; not case sensitive.
Other characters have lower priority, and use UTF-16 code table order.

When idle, the extension gets unloaded from memory, in order to free system resources.

The latest version of Autosort Bookmarks CE is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 25 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-01-02.

HOW TO INSTALL Autosort Bookmarks CE FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Autosort Bookmarks CE CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
