SUMMARY

Provides an easy and fast way to open any image type directly in Photopea, without the need to open the website and copy/paste the image yourself.

NOTE: For security reasons, webapps can access only files from the same domain. In order to let Photopea load your file, the response of your server must contain the following header:

Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *

This may result in the image not loading!

The latest version of Open in Photopea is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-05-31.

HOW TO INSTALL Open in Photopea FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Open in Photopea CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
