Linking Health News to Medical Literature

SUMMARY

News2PubMed is a Chrome browser extension that can help users fact check health news by pointing them to the original PubMed research paper when they browse health-related news articles. Currently we only support: EurekAlert.org. To facilitate users to play with the extension, we provide a page at https://junwang4.github.io/demo-news2pubmed. There a user can play with a list of news items that are randomly sampled from EurekAlert.org. News2PubMed is developed by the @LANTIS Lab at Syracuse University. (https://atlantis.ischool.syr.edu/)

The latest version of Linking Health News to Medical Literature is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 46 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-03-11.

HOW TO INSTALL Linking Health News to Medical Literature FROM A CRX FILE
