URL Closer

SUMMARY

A tool to automatically close tabs when they have been open for a period of time.
Have you ever had a bunch of tabs open from clicking on links that open in a desktop app? Looking at you Zoom and Notion. Now, those tabs would automatically close!
In the options page, you can set how long you would like to wait before closing tabs, and set how many of a type of tab you would like to keep open.

The latest version of URL Closer is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 109 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-11-01.

HOW TO INSTALL URL Closer FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download URL Closer CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
