Disable Google Search Text Highlights

SUMMARY

Google search results sometimes highlight text snippets on pages opened from search results.

The feature can sometimes be annoying, however currently there's no way to disable it from browser preferences.

This extension has been created to override it and disable the highlights.

HOW TO INSTALL Disable Google Search Text Highlights FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Disable Google Search Text Highlights CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
