This Google Chat extension was created to order your Rooms and Chats in an intuitive way. See all your notifications at the top of the room or chat list rather than mixed throughout.

This extension automatically orders your rooms and chats as follows:

Pinned rooms with unread notifications ordered by last message received ordered most recent to least.
Unpinned rooms with unread notifications ordered by last message received ordered most recent to least.
Pinned rooms with no notifications ordered by last message received ordered most recent to least.
Unpinned rooms with no notifications ordered by last message received ordered most recent to least.

The latest version of Google Chat Smart Order is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 474 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-07-18.

HOW TO INSTALL Google Chat Smart Order FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Google Chat Smart Order CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
