DOM Distiller Reading Mode

SUMMARY

Have you ever visited a website where the text is so ugly you get a headache trying to read or where the content is hard to find because of unimportant sidebars and share buttons? This extension will fix that for you.

This extension figures out what is important on a page and shows only that in the same consistent way every time.

Uses the code that powers the mobile-friendly view on phones.

The latest version of DOM Distiller Reading Mode is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 10,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2018-04-07.

HOW TO INSTALL DOM Distiller Reading Mode FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download DOM Distiller Reading Mode CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
