SUMMARY

Mute Tab is an extension that helps you quickly mute all tabs with just one button (click). The toolbar button serves as an ON|OFF switch, once pressed, the icon will change accordingly (the color and shape). Please note that if you want to unmute just one tab, simply right-click on a tab and then click on the "Unmute Tab" item. To mute all tabs except the active tab, please visit the options page. If you manually unmute a tab, the addon will NOT change it, even if you click on the toolbar icon. The latest version of Mute Tab is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 10,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-04-20.

HOW TO INSTALL Mute Tab FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Mute Tab CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
