KDE Connect

SUMMARY

A Chrome (and compatible) browser extension to send pages and content from your browser to connected KDE Connect devices, via browser action or context menu.

NOTE: This is not an officially endorsed KDE project.

This extension relies on a Native Messaging Host to communicate with KDE Connect devices. As a result, installation is a little more involved than stand-alone extensions. Please see https://github.com/pdf/kdeconnect-chrome-extension for installation instructions for the Native Messaging Host.

The latest version of KDE Connect is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 7,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2017-12-08.

HOW TO INSTALL KDE Connect FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download KDE Connect CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
