Tickytock

SUMMARY

Tickytock is a google chrome extension to help increase productivity and stop mindless browsing, by presenting you a real time countdown of your estimated life expectancy on time wasting websites. The count down can be extremely motivating and a reminder to get on with tasks that are important to you.

Tickytock is fully configurable, you may select which sites you would like the notification to appear on and how often you would like to be notified while browsing a blocked site. It uses data provided by population.io to estimate you life expectancy, these figures should not be taken seriously. Rather just a reminder that the 'Clock is ticking'

The latest version of Tickytock is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 22 active users. The initial version was launched on 2016-03-29.

HOW TO INSTALL Tickytock FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Tickytock CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
