SUMMARY

The web is an ugly place for Urdu readers and Urdu language speakers because most major websites like Google, Twitter and Facebook don't support the most readable Urdu font - Nastaleeq. Therefore, Urdu speakers/readers are forced to read poorly rendered Ariel or Naskh fonts. With this extension you will see beautiful Nastaleeq font everywhere Urdu is written on the web - Google Search Results, Facebook, Twitter.

The latest version of Nastaleeq is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 20,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-04-06.

HOW TO INSTALL Nastaleeq FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Nastaleeq CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
