SUMMARY

Eye Read is a web extension that unlocks the power of focused reading with a click of a button on any web page.

We built Eye Read to help people become more productive at school and work. It is especially useful for neurodivergent population, e.g. with ADHD and ADD.

Eye Read uses a custom algorithm that bolds a portion of each word to help guide your eyes over the text. This augmented reading technique enables your brain to autocomplete the words, which translates into improved focus and faster reading.

The latest version of Eye Read: Reading Assistant is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 365 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-05-10.

HOW TO INSTALL Eye Read: Reading Assistant FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Eye Read: Reading Assistant CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
