LivePerson Web Messaging Debugger

SUMMARY

This extension adds a developer tools panel that empowers the user to monitor and debug the LivePerson web messaging experience in the following ways:

- Is "Web Tag detected"?: Detects and displays whether the current webpage is tagged with the LivePerson Web Tag for web messaging/chat
- Displays the current LivePerson account ID and associated environment
- Dashboard: view the current LivePerson account ID, environment, and component versions
- CSP (Content Security Policy): run a test to uncover CSP compliance/compatibility issues with the LivePerson web messaging/chat

The latest version of LivePerson Web Messaging Debugger is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 149 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-08-22.

HOW TO INSTALL LivePerson Web Messaging Debugger FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download LivePerson Web Messaging Debugger CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
