Recognizing that not all users appreciate the AI-powered summaries and insights which can clutter search results, this extension offers a clean, streamlined interface that focuses solely on traditional results, allowing you to easily turn off AI Overviews.

The latest version of Hide Google AI Overviews is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 30,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-04-23.

HOW TO INSTALL Hide Google AI Overviews FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Hide Google AI Overviews CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
