SUMMARY

This extension helps Japanese learners (especially Kanji). If you see a kanji character that you don't recognise, select it, then right click, then you'll see a "Kanji Search" item in the content menu. Clicking this item, will take you to https://jisho.org/ where you can see the meanings of the words, the stroke order and a lot more. The extension adds a hot key as well (Ctrl+Shift+K or Cmd+Shift+K) which selects any selected text and does the same.

The latest version of Kanji Search is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 99 active users. The initial version was launched on 2022-05-30.

HOW TO INSTALL Kanji Search FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Kanji Search CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
