It is designed to be a centralized AI assistant for Edge users, and it can be used to trigger browser-related features by typing in the chat. Although Copilot is only available in Microsoft Edge browser, this unofficial extension brings it to Chrome browsers! So you can enjoy full featured Copilot in your daily Chrome browser too. The Copilot sidebar for Chrome extension was removed from the Chrome Web Store on 2024-07-18. At the time of removal, it had 50000 users. The initial version was launched on 2023-06-24.

HOW TO INSTALL Copilot sidebar for Chrome FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Copilot sidebar for Chrome CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
