Lichess Live Analysis Engine

SUMMARY

This Chrome extension will allow you to perform live chess engine analysis of your chess positions after the game. It has been created to compliment the chess evaluation on the LiChess site itself, and to cover those usage cases where the user would like to explore side lines and understand why certain moves work or don't work.

In order to use this extension simply click the "Analysis Board" button on a completed game and then click this extension's button, which in the top right of the browser window. An evaluation of the current position should appear shortly in the left sidebar under "Spectator Room."

The latest version of Lichess Live Analysis Engine is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 474 active users. The initial version was launched on 2015-09-16.

HOW TO INSTALL Lichess Live Analysis Engine FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Lichess Live Analysis Engine CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
