postMessage Developer Tools

SUMMARY

Provides a dev tools panel to view postMessages for the current page. It aims to provide an easier debugging experience than setting up console logs on your message listeners and filtering in the console for the results.

The latest version of postMessage Developer Tools is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 3,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-08-02.

HOW TO INSTALL postMessage Developer Tools FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download postMessage Developer Tools CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
