You can change the seconds on the settings page of the extension (chrome://extensions) But why not just use a normal ad-block? An ad-block completly removes all sorts of ads on youtube, making the video creator not get any money with monetization. This extension allow you to set a minimum time in which the ad will be displayed, and after that time, the ad will be closed automatically, allowing the content creator to get monetization on the video.

The latest version of Youtube Autoclose Ads is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 2,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-02-10.

HOW TO INSTALL Youtube Autoclose Ads FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Youtube Autoclose Ads CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
