GitHub Search Tool

SUMMARY

Extension provides access to the GitHub search bar. Click the icon or press CTRL(CMD)+SHIFT+F to show the search bar. Type in the search phrase and press ENTER. Results will display in the current tab. If you have already a binding for the default shortcut, extension will NOT overwrite it. You can set your own in Chrome settings.

The latest version of GitHub Search Tool is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 196 active users. The initial version was launched on 2013-12-02.

HOW TO INSTALL GitHub Search Tool FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download GitHub Search Tool CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
