SUMMARY

"What's that gorgeous font?", you ask... Well, now you'll know! Click the icon in the browser toolbar to activate font detection mode, and hover over parts of the page to reveal which font is being used. Unlike other font-detecting extensions, this won't ask for full access to every website you visit. It's only activated when you press the button in the toolbar, so you stay in control of your privacy.

The latest version of Detect Font is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-04-10.

HOW TO INSTALL Detect Font FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Detect Font CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
