SUMMARY

Canvas: Darkmode is simple extension that applies a dark theme to Instructure's Canvas that saves power, prevents eye strain and provides a more modern feel.

It works on any "*.instructure.com" URL as well as most "canvas.*.edu" URLs.

It collects does not collect any data and is open-source. Feel free to check it out and modify it if you have any issues!

The latest version of Canvas: Darkmode is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 144 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-08-27.

HOW TO INSTALL Canvas: Darkmode FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Canvas: Darkmode CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
