IDES global hotkeys

SUMMARY

Customisable hotkeys for playback actions for Indico Digital Evidence Server.



HOW TO USE:

To change options, go to Extensions and click on Keyboard shortcuts for this extension. Type a shortcut for different actions and select Global to make hotkeys global, which will allow to control playback actions even if the browser is not active.



LIMITATIONS:

This extension cannot change system settings like disabling default hotkeys of a browser. It also works only when you are in a playback tab in Indico Digital Evidence Server. Finally, some shortcut combinations may not work. Right now, these are limitations that cannot be overcome.

The latest version of IDES global hotkeys is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 22 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-07-14.

HOW TO INSTALL IDES global hotkeys FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download IDES global hotkeys CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
