SUMMARY

This lightweight Chrome extension replaces the New Tab page with lightweight Hex Colour Clock and 5-day Weather forecast. This extension is completely free - there are no adverts, none of your data is stored or sold, and the code is open source.

The latest version of HexTab is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 17 active users. The initial version was launched on 2016-04-28.

HOW TO INSTALL HexTab FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download HexTab CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
