WebXR API Emulator

SUMMARY

WebXR Emulator extension enables users and developers to run and test WebXR content in desktop browsers without using a real XR device.
The extension will emulate the WebXR API on browsers that don’t support it yet and also provide a list of XR devices with their controllers to emulate.

The latest version of WebXR API Emulator is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 30,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-04-08.

HOW TO INSTALL WebXR API Emulator FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download WebXR API Emulator CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
