SUMMARY

StarMask is an extension for accessing Starcoin/Aptos enabled distributed applications, or "Dapps" in your normal Chrome browser!

StarMask also lets the user create and manage their own identities, then user can send STC/APT between their accounts.

The extension injects the web3 API into every website's javascript context, so that dapps can read from the blockchains.

The latest version of StarMask is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 8,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-05-11.

HOW TO INSTALL StarMask FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download StarMask CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
