SUMMARY

Now works with both the old and new genius.com! Replace the built-in Apple Music integration on the Genius lyrics website with the Spotify miniplayer. Because this does not require an Apple developer account, it is not 100% accurate with matching songs, but it is fairly good. It only runs on song pages which already have an Apple Music player on them.

The latest version of geniuspot is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 79 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-01-19.

HOW TO INSTALL geniuspot FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download geniuspot CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
