SoundFixer

SUMMARY

A web extension that lets you fix annoying sound problems on the web e.g. YouTube videos. Sound might play only in one channel, be too quiet at maximum volume, or too loud at minimum volume.

No more "plug your headphones only halfway into the jack" suggestions!

Unfortunately, doesn't work on all websites — specifically, we're not allowed to use the Web Audio API from a cross-domain

The latest version of SoundFixer is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 10,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-11-15.

HOW TO INSTALL SoundFixer FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download SoundFixer CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
