Netflix profanity filter

SUMMARY

This extension filters profanity words in Netflix. It both censors the subtitles and mutes the audio on the appropriate sentence. With customizable profanity word list. To use this, subtitles in Netflix need to be turned on. Because the filtering is based on the subtitles, make sure you add profanity words to the list in the language of the subtitles.

The latest version of Netflix profanity filter is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 5,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2015-12-31.

HOW TO INSTALL Netflix profanity filter FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Netflix profanity filter CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
