SUMMARY

Simplify image downloading and conversion and save images directly as PNG!

No need to go to external sites or popups, just right click on an image and choose the new "Save Image as PNG" option within the context menu. All of the conversion is done instantly upon download and in the background so it feels just as integrated as the regular Save option you are used to. This bare bones and simple extension won't run processes in the background, it only gets to work once you specifically choose to download something via the new option.

HOW TO INSTALL RapidPNG FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download RapidPNG CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
