Chess STM

SUMMARY

A Speech-To-Move extension that converts your speech into moves on the chess board so that you can play hands-free!
Moves must be made in this order: (piece to move) (original square) (square to move it to), for example: king e1 e2
Castling can be achieved by saying "long castle" or "short castle" or the corresponding king move.
Notes:
- Made to work on chess.com
- Recommended for rapid games,
- Working on getting rid of needing to mention the original square so that proper chess notation can be used
- Doesn't work if the board is flipped

The latest version of Chess STM is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 5 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-10-08.

HOW TO INSTALL Chess STM FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Chess STM CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
