As you've probably realized if you're searching for this extension, Twitter has made some questionable UI choices around blocked users. In particular it shows you when the people you follow quote tweet people you've blocked despite it not really being clear why anyone would want to see that content. This extension attempts to remove those tweets from your timeline. It only removes tweets from the main timeline view. If you click in to a user or comment thread, it assumes you want to see their terrible content in full, including all their dumb attempted dunks.

It may or may not work in any language other than English. As a side effect of trying to remove the blocked tweets without hardcoding the exact Twitter layout too much, it also removes all links on the page that start with https://help.twitter.com/ (including possibly any tweets that include that link on twitter.com/home).

The Twitter Block Block extension was removed from the Chrome Web Store on 2023-09-03. At the time of removal, it had 14 users. The initial version was launched on 2022-01-25.

HOW TO INSTALL Twitter Block Block FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Twitter Block Block CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
