Notifyer

SUMMARY

Use Notifyer by visiting meet.google.com and selecting the Notifyer icon in your extensions toolbar. Add words you want to be detected to the list. Clicking a word in the list will automatically toggle the detection state on/off. Note: you must have captions turned on in order for text to be detected. This application is open source, the Github link is above. Submit any issues there, and feel free to contribute. -Plans to add Google Hangouts and Zoom in the near future-

The latest version of Notifyer is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 2,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-09-23.

HOW TO INSTALL Notifyer FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Notifyer CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
