IPFS Search

SUMMARY

This extension allows you to use ipfs-search's API directly from your search bar. Simply type "ipfs" + Tab/Space to activate it.

Features:
- Instant jump to first result: Simply type Space + Enter and you will be redirected to the first search result on IPFS;
- Configurable IPFS gateway: If your workstation doesn't run an IPFS server, you can use a gateway to jump to IPFS pages using http (default gateway: gateway.ipfs.io);
- Cached results for faster search.

The latest version of IPFS Search is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 916 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-03-28.

HOW TO INSTALL IPFS Search FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download IPFS Search CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
