GeoKrety Toolbox

SUMMARY

This script was written to build a bridge between the most popular geocaching site and a relatively new site that offers a free tracking service - geokrety.org. It has two functions. Once you enter a particular cache page on geocaching.com it will automatically check if there are any geokrets (items tracked on geokrety.org) inside that cache and show the result in the inventory section on the right hand side of the screen (below the existing list of Travelbugs and Geocoins). If you have an account on geokrety.org you can also easily drop geokrets into GC caches because the waypoint code and coordinates are automatically copied over onto the logging form on geokrety.org.

The latest version of GeoKrety Toolbox is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 596 active users. The initial version was launched on 2016-02-12.

HOW TO INSTALL GeoKrety Toolbox FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download GeoKrety Toolbox CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
