SUMMARY

This extensions adds some extra functionalities to github.com. It provides a fast and simple way of cloning a repository directly to vscode with the click of a button and also allows opening a repository or file of a repository with vscode.dev, by right clicking anywhere on the web page and selecting "Open with vscode.dev".

Keyboard shortcuts:

Cloning a repository: Ctrl + Shift + Down
Opening in vscode.dev: Ctrl + Shift + Up

The latest version of Github to vscode is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 428 active users. The initial version was launched on 2022-03-30.

HOW TO INSTALL Github to vscode FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Github to vscode CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
