Clear Read

SUMMARY

This extension adds a button to Chrome to toggle a distraction-free reading mode. When enabled, the plugin attempts to strip out just the core content and displays it in legible text on a plain white background.

The latest version of Clear Read is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 20,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2016-01-14.

HOW TO INSTALL Clear Read FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Clear Read CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
