SUMMARY

NSFW Filter is a free, open source, and privacy-focused browser extension to filter out "not safe for work" content. Under the hood, NSFW Filter uses an artificial intelligence model to detect NSFW content and block it. This project is completely built by volunteers and will be forever free and open source. The latest version of NSFW Filter is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 10,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-08-04.

HOW TO INSTALL NSFW Filter FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download NSFW Filter CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
