SUMMARY

In an October 2023 update to X, headlines/titles on URLs shared on posts were removed. This Chrome extension adds back in those titles so you can get less confused on what's an image and what's a URL. Once you install this Chrome extension, there's no further action you need to do. Titles will automatically appear in your X feed. The code is open source under GPL-3.0 license. HOW TO INSTALL Show Titles In X (formerly Twitter) Links FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Show Titles In X (formerly Twitter) Links CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
