What is MAUVE ++ Plugin Validator?

SUMMARY

This is a browser’s extension to dynamically validate the accessibility of the web page loaded in the active tab; it exploits Mauve++ accessibility validator. The extension serialize the DOM of the webpage loaded in the active tab and then sends the serialized DOM to Mauve++ accessibility valiator. After the validation, a new tab showing the accessibility validation report is opened. Privacy Information MAUVE++ receives the web page DOM from the extension, it validates the DOM and immediately delete the received data. We don't store the content of the web page, neither the web page URL or the IP address of the sender. MAUVE means Multiguideline Accessibility and Usability Validation Enviroment. It is a is a system to evaluate accessibility of Web sites by checking their HTML and CSS code through W3C guidelines.
