SUMMARY

I made this extension as quick way to look at my current weather without task-switching to my desktop. It uses MSN weather API to retrieve the current temperature and conditions. The location uses MSN's location search so its pretty forgiving. I couldn't find the documentation for the API so there might be some conditions that icon doesn't pop up. In which case just email me so I can fix the issue. I also want to find out if the API I am using has a way to check if its night or not. The latest version of WeatherQuick is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 68 active users. The initial version was launched on 2012-05-20.

HOW TO INSTALL WeatherQuick FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download WeatherQuick CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
