no_downvote_display

SUMMARY

Hides the number of downvotes comments have in Disqus. May need to refresh any tabs with Disqus comments that were opened before installing the extension. Disqus appears to have added a feature where admins can remove visible downvotes, so this extension may be less necessary than it used to be. This extension is open source under the MIT license and its code is available here: https://codeberg.org/DrewNaylor/no-downvote-display/ Changes in version 0.3: - Added support for Manifest v3. Only doing this because I have several users on Chrome/Chromium-based browsers and I want to make sure they can still use it. Changes in version 0.2.1: - The icon is now rendered from a source SVG file for better visual clarity. Changes in version 0.2: - Downvotes are now hidden on user profiles and in notifications.

The latest version of no_downvote_display is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 26 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-04-18.

HOW TO INSTALL no_downvote_display FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download no_downvote_display CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
