Have you ever needed to save part of the text from a web page? What you can do nowadays, is to save the entire page, with all the unneeded images and resources attached (a lot of things, for just some text) or to copy the text, open a text editor, paste it and search for a path where to save it (a lot of steps!). With Selection to file, today, you can simply select the text you want and click save: you will find all the text you saved in the download folder.

The latest version of Selection to file is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 206 active users. The initial version was launched on 2017-12-21.

HOW TO INSTALL Selection to file FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Selection to file CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
